Mindful Action Sangha is a group of Buddhist practitioners exploring how to use the Dharma and the practices of meditation to engage directly with issues causing suffering to all sentient beings. Beginning with readings from the anthology True Peace Work: Selected Writings on Engaged Buddhism (Parallax Press 2019), conversations will be led by four WMC practitioners who also work with various peace and justice organizations: Joshua Lutz, Rita Walton, Rose Rothe, and Charles Olson.
The issues will be explored in a series of evening discussions convened on Zoom in September, October, and November 2021. If you’d like to join these conversations, register by emailing buddhistsengaged@gmail.com.
You will be sent a confirmation email, with the meeting schedule, list of reading selections, and the Zoom link.
