Robert Chender is a long time student of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche.

He currently teaches at WMC, and the Open Heart Project. He is also a teacher of Search Inside Yourself, the mindfulness and emotional intelligence program developed at Google. He is an authorized Shambhala Training teacher, and former senior teacher at the Shambhala Meditation Center of NY.

Robert is on the boards of the Mindful Workplace Community, the Foundation for a Mindful Society, and the Mindfulness in Law Society.

He is the founder of the (UK) Mindfulness in Law Group and the New York City Bar Association Mindfulness and Wellbeing Committee.

The format for the Sunday morning Dharma gathering consists of 30 minutes of meditation followed by a talk. The last segment of the morning program is open discussion.
